New Orleans Hurricanes paintball organization, based out of Slidell, LA is proud to announce their new partnership with LA Xtreme Paintball Park.
Owned by long time staple in the Louisiana Paintball Community, Drew Bankston, LA Xtreme Paintball park is located at 37000 Dr Tj Smith Sr Expy in Slidell and is open weekends from 10 am to 5 pm. They most recently hosted the 2022 Bunkerfest Mardi Gras Open and host the long time running LAXball paintball tournament series. You can find them online at laxpaintball.com
Mr. Bankston had this to say about the new partnership, "It is an honor and a privilege to have the New Orleans Hurricanes call LAX home. Not only are they true students of the game but they are ambassadors of the sport as well—always setting a good example of how a player should handle themselves on & off the field. We look forward to teaming up with the ‘Canes and growing paintball in our region while providing a solid place to practice and grow their program. We have many long time friends on the team and, over the years have built a great relationship together that will only help us moving forward with this partnership. Roll ‘Canes!"
Coach Mike Bianca said, "We are excited about this deal. Drew and his staff have been nothing short of incredible. They run a tight ship and have a tremendous facility. They understand the demands of this sport and the needs of teams and players alike, so I think this will be a fantastic opportunity for all involved."
The Hurricanes will continue to maintain their longtime relationship with Gulf Coast Paintball. The Hurricanes are incredibly thankful for the support from owners Lucy Hamilton and former Hurricane player Matt Hamilton who stepped away earlier this season to pursue more personal matters and goals.
Captain Stuart Ridgel stated. "We're incredibly grateful for everything Matt, Lucy, and Gulf Coast Paintball have done to contribute to our success. Without their love and support, we wouldn't be where we are today." He continued by saying, "Drew Bankston and Paul Gilhousen have put in a lot of work to create something special for Louisiana paintball. LA Xtreme is one of our region's top tournament paintball facilities and is still expanding. We're happy to form this new alliance and continue to build the Hurricanes organization."
